Governance Support for Accurx Scribe

Acute, Community and Mental Health Trusts and Providers

In this guide, you will find everything you need to set up Accurx Scribe in a way that is compliant and secure for you and your patients.
We understand governance tasks can potentially seem daunting, but with the resources here we believe you can complete this process in a much shorter period.

Who is this training centre for?

Project Leads

The project lead can find an overview of the process and resources required to help ensure that governance requirements for the implementation of an Accurx Scribe pilot are met.

Clinical Safety Officers (CSO)

Your trust must appoint a CSO for the Accurx Scribe clinical safety approval process. This individual must be trained to oversee digital patient safety and manage the DCB0160 safety standard.
The CSO is responsible for ensuring digital patient safety and maintaining compliance with the DCB0160 standard.

Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Information Governance Team

As a trust you will have an allocated data protection officer and information governance team who will be responsible for ensuring the data and information governance requirements are met.

Ongoing governance

As a responsible supplier we understand that implementing new technology is a continuous journey rather than a one-off event, requiring rigorous, ongoing governance to ensure long-term safety and efficacy. Accurx is happy to support Trust’s with this process and will work closely with you to understand any ongoing requirements post go live.
